The pump cap on my bosch washing machine model wfr2867gb 01 is stuck fast and i need to clean the filter.

Turn off and unplug your washing machine.
It either unscrews or is a bayonet fitting.
Let the machine dry out after running the cycle and then switch to a soap that has no perfumes or dyes in it also if you use liquid fabric softener stop and switch to something like bounce sheets for your dryer.

What you can try if you havent already is grip the filter with a pair of pilers and then loosen it and tighten it quickely a few times and see if it will dislodge what ever it is.
Switch the power off from the wall socket and unplug your washer.
Use a pair of pliers for a little extra leverage for what your complaint is once you have the filter cleaned out run a clean cycle with some bleach or afresh washer cleaner.
Wash any dirt or other material from the debris filter.
Start by turning all of the buttons to a neutral position or hit the off button if your machine has one.
Nothing i can do loosens it and the plastic grip is breaking when i try to use metal tools for leverage.
Unscrew the debris filter cap d by turning it to the left.
Washers do appreciate a bit of tls with a cup of vinegar and a run through on 90 now and again though.
If the filter cap is stuck fast it may be due to limescale build up not a coin or clip.
Make sure the drain pump properller behind the debris filter is not blocked.
Washing machine pump filters if you have a washing machine pump filter is jammed or stuck and you can t open it do not force it.
You can then ease out the trap cap by pushing from the rear without wrecking the screw cap.

The solution then is to remove the pump from the machine and then detach the motor from the pump housing.
